Sharpening stones are an old school method of knife sharpening that works on any knife – hard steel (e.g. Japanese) or soft steel (European/Western).

Once you master the technique, sharpening stones can be very valuable in grinding your steel back when needed. We stock combination stones that include a rough and smooth surface, so you can also use these for honing.
