Frozen Meat Reduction
Frozen meat reduction is necessary if you have large blocks of meat that need to be processed further. With a frozen meat cutter, you do not need to spend extra time thawing out your meat. These machines break the blocks down to a size suitable for further processing in the mincer or bowl cutter. The smaller blocks mean less time and effort required by mincers and bowl cutters, and less wear and tear on these machines overall. Eliminating the need to thaw meat also avoids drip losses and prevents bacterial growth and discolouration.
Despite the tremendous effort of cutting frozen blocks, the guillotine cutters in particular do not require much power. They operate by an extremely powerful hydraulic system, equipped with one horizontal blade and four vertical blades.
Alternatively, there are the block flakers. These operate by means of a rotating four bladed roller. They produce irregular pieces and are the superior model for facilitating easier processing in the cutter and mincer.
