Description
The MAINCA BS-2800 Sentinel bandsaw stops immediately when an operator’s hand gets too close to the blade, preventing most major injuries associated with the use of a bandsaw. The operator must wear Sentinel metal detectable gloves to ensure proper operation of the safety features, but they are not tethered to the machine.
The system is completed with a durable and extremely efficient pneumatic brake located inside the machine being able to stop the blade in just a few milliseconds. It needs an 8-bar compressed air line, but is also available with an in-built compressor for your convenience.
The recommended model includes DUAL DETECTION, which features both the MAINCA Vision system and a metal sensor in the table. (It is also available with the MAINCA Vision system only.)
No broken or damaged blades. Immediate restart and very easy to clean.
Very low and cheap maintenance: over 3,000 stops without replacing any part.
Touch panel with interface for adjusting different settings: multiple detection areas, user registration, emergency stop records, glove check frequency, etc.
